Shannon Sharpe is a former NFL Tight-End who throughout his career accomplished many things on the field including 3 Superbowls, NFL All-Decade Team, and Hall of Fame. He currently co-hosts Undisputed with Skip Bayless on Fox Sports 1. Regarded as one of the greatest tight-ends of all time he has now taken a shot at mastering the Spirits world. "Le Portier" means the "gatekeeper" in French and is name in honor of his Grandmother, Mary Porter, who so elegantly instilled the great characteristics in Shannon and his siblings that helped him become the great leader that he is. This Ode to his Grandmother has meaning for him personally but it makes a profound statement that aims to set it apart from other Brands.

Le Portier Cognac

Owner: Shannon Sharpe

ABV: 40% The Juice: Caramel spiced apple, chocolate, butterscotch

The Tasting:

Classy Cognac. Le Portier checks all of the boxes. Check out the tasting review below:

Tasting Notes: Savory Taste of Butterscoth

Double-distilled in Charentais copper pot stills and aged in French Oak barrels this Cognac has a slight hint of charred oak similar to the feel you get with toasting marshmallows.

"Claret is the liquor for boys, port for men; but he who aspires to be a hero must drink brandy."
- Samuel L. Jackson

Overall this is a great pick whether it is neat or on the rocks and it is not to overbearing or strong but rather very smooth.

The Verdict:

Solid Cognac with hint of toasted marshmallows.
